Paperwork Needed

To apply for a loan, you will have to provide the lender with detailed documentation of your financial history. The lender will request a credit report from a credit agency and will verify the information provided in your loan application. Be prepared to provide:

 

  • 2 Years most recent complete federal tax returns with all schedules
  • 2 Years most recent W-2 forms for all jobs
  • Recent paycheck stubs to cover most recent 30 days earnings
  • Copies of checking, savings and retirement accounts statements for the past two months (all pages of each statement) 
  • Current mortgage statement, Property tax bill and Insurance policy declaration page for all real estate you currently own
  • Copy of driver's license
  • Residence history for the past two years
  • Sales contract for the purchase of a new home (Will be obtained after Pre-Qualification)
  • Homeowner's association information with contact information if property is a condo or part of a homeowner's association (Will be obtained after Pre-Qualification)
